ST PAUL, MN – As the 2009 American League Central Division Champion Minnesota Twins prepare to move across downtown Minneapolis to Target Field, they have announced plans for a “moving sale.” On Saturday, Nov. 7, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., the team invites fans to the Metrodome to peruse a wide variety of merchandise and memorabilia.
“After 28 years of playing baseball in the Metrodome we’ve accumulated a vast array of items,” said Patrick Klinger, Twins vice president of marketing. “We hope fans will come down and enjoy the opportunity to go home with some unique memorabilia we’ll have available.”
The “moving sale” will take place in the Metrodome concourse (enter through gate F). Free parking will be available in the Metrodome parking lot (enter 11th Avenue & 5th Street).
Items in the sale include bobbleheads, Twins publications, artwork, Metrodome signage, jerseys, clothing, memorabilia, collectables and much more.
