Jeffrey Taylor:  Does AA get it wrong with alcoholics?
Jeffrey Taylor is the founder of Jeffrey Taylor Group, a holding company for Jeffreys various operating businesses which include, Showbiz Management Advisors, a film and TV production advisor, Scottsdale Luxury Cruises, a luxury cruise agency and Deep Discount Business Travel, a business consolidator.

Jeffrey Taylor is no stranger to the self-help book market. He has previously published two textbooks for the equipment leasing industry (Selling Leasing In A Tough Economy and The Future of Equipment Leasing) and an innovative primer on starting a new business (Going from W2 to 1099).

Jeffrey, a recovering alcoholic, has been sober since April 15, 2003 and has spoken to audiences all over the world about the subject of alcoholism.

As part of his recovery, he wrote a book called, A Gentleman Drunk.

A Gentleman Drunk is a story about recovery from alcoholism. Although he drank for 40 years he never outwardly showed any signs of alcoholic behavior. Then all of a sudden, at 2:00 a.m. on 3rd Avenue in New York City, the police found him in a gutter clinging onto life. This is his story on how he survived, despite often seemingly insurmountable obstacles and challenges, in order to conquer the debilitating effects of alcoholism.

In order to help others he has previously hosted a weekly radio show called, Cocktails at 5, on wsradio.com. As part of that responsibility he conducted interviews with the founder of Moderation Management, Rational Recovery, the founder of the first alcoholic recovery program for the U.S. Navy, the President of MADD and the Executive Director of the Betty Ford Clinic.

He maintains a free website, called Alcohol411.info used by alcoholics and their families to educate them on various programs and steps they can take to deal with this physical and mental illness.

Between his busy business schedules, Mr. Taylor teaches several commercial real estate courses at the Professional Institute of Real Estate.

Bob Rinear:  3.8Trillion dollar budget proposal and 1.2Trillion dollar debt.

InvestYourself was founded in October 1997 by Robert Rinear, who owned several successful business ventures primarily in the jewelry industry. In fact, his introduction to the financial world began as the result of his experience timing the price of tangible assets, including gemstones, gold and silver, all on a daily basis—a talent critically needed to be successful in the jewelry industry.

As Bob Rinear saw the price of gold soaring in the late 1980s, he needed to find the causes of that move. What he found was intriguing. Political issues, global economics and even something as simple as the industrial output in Japan would move the price of tangible assets.

He needed to learn more.

As he became more “in tune” with the global economic process, he noticed that one of his best customers traded stocks and options on a daily basis. With Mr. Rinear’s views on the overall economic situation and “Charley’s” ability in picking stocks, they found a winning combination. But it still wasn't complete.

Once introduced to the intricacies of the equity markets, it didn’t take Mr. Rinear long to realize that he had a knack for predicting the everyday flows of the stock and options markets. He began to attend trading seminars and training camps with the desire to learn how to make profitable trades on a daily basis.

One thing became abundantly clear—none of the classes gave him the total picture about how to accomplish his goal. Something was still missing in regards to how to make a living by trading stocks and options. Likewise, he realized that not all opportunities came in just stocks and options. Sometimes it was a quick move in precious metals or Treasury bonds. Other times it may have been a move in a currency.

Not to be defeated, Mr. Rinear slowly developed his own trading style that began to produce profits. After taking what he learned from the seminars and injecting his own methods of calculating stock movements, options movements, currency, real estate and Treasury movements, a successful concept emerged. He expanded this trading concept into a workable platform that anyone could follow. That was the beginning of his newsletter “Market Insight & Outlook” (now the Financial Intelligence Report). From those first few issues it became clear that the public would benefit from his years of research. He decided to offer it to the masses.

From that humble beginning a company called “InvestYourself” was created. Its main goal is to help investors of every experience level gain the investing knowledge necessary to win in a tough game that includes enabling investors to grow in their knowledge of real estate, stocks, bonds and finances in general.

Mark Underwood  Is it absent-mindedness or is it Alzheimer’s? As we age, forgetting where we put the car keys or being unable to recall a person’s name can be cause for concern. And rightly so, for over 5 million people are living with Alzheimer’s. It’s even showing up in people in their 30’s and 40’s. However, the public’s growing awareness of this thief of memory is helping to accelerate research efforts, says neuroscience researcher Mark Underwood, president of the Madison Wisconsin-based biotech company, Quincy Bioscience. According to Underwood, research is revealing that ‘calcium overload’ within the neurons is a culprit in the cognitive impairment associated with Alzheimer’s. But the good news is help for this impairment in a natural, but unlikely source—the protein found in jellyfish! Join us Saturday for an informative discussion on the latest findings regarding Alzheimer’s and what may be the best approach for relieving calcium-overload and improving memory function.
