KFGO has won two Peabody awards, several Edward R. Murrow awards, and numerous local and regional accolades. The most important honor though, is the loyalty of thousands of regular listeners everyday. KFGO serves eastern North Dakota, northwest Minnesota, northeast South Dakota and southern Manitoba.
KFGO has listeners from Grand Forks North Dakota to Winnipeg Manitoba to Aberdeen South Dakota and all places in between and beyond. KFGO takes great pride in being “live and local.” in a day and age which often features pre-recorded “voice-tracked” programs on most radio stations, it’s refreshing to hear the longest-running morning show, (since 1977,) “Tom and Larry in the morning,” “News and Views” with Ed Schultz, “The Jack and Sandy Show” and “The Joel Heitkamp show,” originating from our studios in Fargo North Dakota. KFGO is homegrown and hometown radio. That’s why we say “KFGO knows Fargo-Moorhead.”
