A Dalton, Minn. man plans to plead guilty to the murder of his mother.

 

 

 

 

A Dalton, Minn. man plans to plead guilty to the murder of his mother.

James Howard was charged in April 2011 after his mother, Barbara, was attacked with a machete.

She died several weeks later.

Howard would be sentenced to more than 34 years if a judge accepts the plea agreement. He would also plead guilty to a charge of calling in a false prescription.
