Fargo Man Accused Of Sexual Assault Pleads Guilty

A Fargo man accused of sexually assaulting a woman who passed out at a party has pleaded not guilty.

 

 

 

 

A Fargo man accused of sexually assaulting a woman who passed out at a party has pleaded not guilty.

John Bussert, 21, faces a gross sexual imposition charge.

Officers were called to a disturbance last Sunday at 924 5th Avenue South. According to police reports, Bussert and a friend planned to have the woman over, get her drunk and have sex with her.

Bussert told police the woman did not wake up as he had sex with her. He faces up to 20 years in prison.
