Man Falls Into Ramsey Falls In SW Minn.

Redwood Falls police are investigating after a 28-year-old man fell into Ramsey Falls while trying to take a photo.

 

 

 

 

REDWOOD FALLS, Minn. (AP) - Redwood Falls police are investigating after a 28-year-old man fell into Ramsey Falls while trying to take a photo.

Police say the incident was reported around 12:50 p.m. Thursday.

The man was found lying at the bottom of the falls.

The man, Enrique Larez, was taken to a Twin Cities hospital.

Police say he was with friends at the falls when he crossed the fence to take a photo with his phone.

Police say his friends say they didn't witness the fall, but realized he was missing and saw him below the falls.

Police say it appears to be an accident.
