FARGO - The longtime partnership between the Fargo Public Schools and the Bluestem Center for the Arts is coming to an end.
Bluestem Executive Director Sue Wiger says "cultural differences" with the district helped lead to the breakup.
She says a decrease in donations and high operating expenses were also factors.
President of the Fargo School Board Jim Johnson says he thinks a special board should be established to oversee and manage Bluestem, in much the same way as the Fargodome authority operates.
Johnson says ending the partnership will have no effect on the Trollwood Performing Arts School.
