Three Men Detained After Traffic Stop In Fargo

Authorities have detained three people for questioning who were in a van stopped on Interstate-94 in South Fargo this morning.

 

 

 

 

FARGO - Authorities have detained three people for questioning who were in a van stopped on Interstate-94 in South Fargo this morning.

Police are not releasing much information because of the on-going nature of the investigation; KFGO News has been told the incident is related to a felony crime that happened outside the Fargo area.

Fargo police, the Cass County Sheriff's Department, North Dakota Bureau of Criminal Investigation and several other agencies are involved.

Lt. Joel Vettel says the van was pulled over by authorities without incident, in the west bound lane of the interstate near the Red River Bridge.

Lt. Vettel says the stop was a "significant end" to one part of the criminal investigation.
