Habitual Traffic Offender Faces New Charges

A Moorhead man with a long history of traffic offenses is in trouble again.

 

 

 

 

MOORHEAD, Minn. - A Moorhead man with a long history of traffic offenses is in trouble again.

Forty-nine-year-old John Hamre has been charged with driving after cancellation of his license.

Moorhead police arrested Hamre Thursday on a report of a reckless driver near the holiday gas station.

Court records say Hamre has approximately 24 moving violation convictions dating back to the 1980's.

The latest charge carries a maximum penalty of a year in prison and a $3,000 fine.
