Fargo Woman Launches Effort To Paint I-94 Pedestrian Bridge

A Fargo woman has begun an effort to convince city leaders to paint the pedestrian bridge over Interstate-94.

FARGO - A Fargo woman has begun an effort to convince city leaders to paint the pedestrian bridge over Interstate-94.

Walkers and bicyclists have been crossing the familiar blue steel arch bridge for decades. Jen Hoy says similar bridges are painted a variety of colors across the country.

Hoy is hosting a Facebook page called “Hey Fargo! Let's paint the blue bridge over 94 already."

Suggestions include painting the bridge like a rainbow or using colors that reflect more community pride.
