MOORHEAD, Minn. - A Moorhead man is facing a felony charge of assaulting a police officer.
Court documents say 44-year-old Ronald Coleman was sitting in a squad car when he kicked a Moorhead police officer in the face. The officer was also kicked in the hand--causing puncture wounds from the probes on his taser.
Police subdued Coleman with pepper spray.
The incident happened Monday while officers were attempting to transport Coleman to detox.
If convicted, Coleman faces up to five years in prison.
