Minot Air Force Base Getting New Air Traffic Tower

Minot Air Force Base is getting a new air traffic control tower and a new base operations building near the runway.

 

 

 

 

MINOT, N.D. (AP) - Minot Air Force Base is getting a new air traffic control tower and a new base operations building near the runway.

The project costs about $14.5 million. Construction began in April and is to wrap up next summer.

Deputy base civil engineer Renetta Pearson says that the old structures will be demolished when the new ones are finished.
