A nationwide "Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over" campaign begins Friday. A total of 275 people have been killed in drunken driving crashes in North Dakota since 2008.
State Patrol Captain Bryan Niewind says despite those staggering numbers many people continue to get behind the wheel after drinking.
The impaired driving crackdown runs through Sept. 3.
