Clay County authorities have released more information on a crash in Sabin Thursday night that killed a teen.

 

 

 

 

Clay County authorities have released more information on a crash in Sabin Thursday night that killed a teen.

Sheriff Bill Bergquist says all three boys involved in the crash were wearing their seatbelts, and alcohol was not a factor.

Seventeen-year-old Austin Wagar died from injuries sustained in the crash. The driver, 16-year-old Kullen Carney, and passenger 16-year-old Brendan Daly have been released from the hospital.

Wagar's funeral is being held today at 11 a.m.

The crash remains under investigation.
