Husband of Grand Forks Legislator Tied To Human Trafficking Case

The husband of State Representative Lois Delmore has been charged in connection with a human trafficking investigation in Grand Forks.

 

 

 

 

The husband of State Representative Lois Delmore has been charged in connection with a human trafficking investigation in Grand Forks. Sixty-year-old Michael Delmore is accused of hiring someone to engage in sexual activity.

An arrest warrant for Delmore was issued last week. He was taken into custody and released on a $300 bond.

Two other men and a woman are accused of arranging for a 17-year-old girl to have sex with Delmore. Prosecutors say they advertised an "escort service" on a website.

Delmore is a former counselor at Larimore high school.
