Moorhead Officer Bit By Dog

A Moorhead police officer was bitten by a stray dog, and police are looking for its owner.

 

 

 

 

MOORHEAD, Minn. - A Moorhead police officer was bitten by a stray dog, and police are looking for its owner.

The tan male Pitbull, with scars on his face and head, bit the officer on the thigh, while the officer was trying to take custody of it.

It happened in the 800 Block of 19th Street North.

The dog did not have tags. The dog is being monitored for rabies.

Anyone who knows who the dog belongs to is asked to call Moorhead police.
