Willmar, Minn. (AP) - A head-on collision near Willmar has claimed the lives of three people: a 68-year-old woman, her adult daughter and her 8-year-old granddaughter.

The State Patrol says the accident happened Friday about 9 p.m. on Highway 12.

Authorities say a pickup driven by a 21-year-old Norwood man crossed the center line and collided with a minivan driven by Marta Stoffers of Atwater.

She was killed, along with her daughter, Michelle Hoffman, 40, of Eden Prairie. Hoffman's daughter, Julia Hoffman, 8, also died, and Jason Hoffman, 5, was hospitalized in critical condition.
