ABERDEEN, S.D. (AP) - The city of Aberdeen is relaxing its liquor sale laws.
The City Council has voted to expand alcohol sales on Sundays and Memorial Day, to mirror state law.
Starting next month, residents can buy off-sale liquor on Sundays, rather than just on-sale. The Sunday hours for on-sale liquor sales also are being expanded by four hours.
Both on-sale and off-sale liquor sales are being allowed on Memorial Day, rather than just beer and wine sales.
