Man Arrested After Chase and Crash

A 31-year-old Fargo man is facing a pile of charges, including drunk driving and a felony charge of fleeing a police officer, after a chase and crash in south Moorhead.

 

 

 

 

A 31-year-old Fargo man is facing a pile of charges, including drunk driving and a felony charge of fleeing a police officer, after a chase and crash in south Moorhead.

Investigators say police tried to stop Shawn McEachern on south eighth street early Sunday morning, but he took off.

Police followed---and speeds reached 50-to-60 miles an hour.

The chase ended when McEachern crashed his bike on fifth street south.

He was treated at the hospital for minor injuries before being locked up.
