Former ND Teacher Gets Jail For Sex With Girl

A former Bismarck teacher has been sentenced to 60 days in jail for having sex with a teenage girl.

BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) - A former Bismarck teacher has been sentenced to 60 days in jail for having sex with a teenage girl.

27-year-old John Krueger must also complete 300 hours of community service within seven months and pay $650 in court fees.

Krueger is a former instrumental music director at three Bismarck Roman Catholic schools.

He pleaded guilty Tuesday to three felony charges of corruption or solicitation of a minor.

Krueger's lawyer says he has been attending Alcoholics Anonymous meetings four times per week and has started a new group.

Court records say Krueger was drunk during some of the encounters.
