BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) - A man accused of being drunk while driving a Bismarck school bus has quit his driving job.
School Superintendent Tamara Uselman says Thomas Griak resigned last Thursday in the face of being fired. He initially had been placed on leave without pay.
The 41-year-old Lincoln man has been charged with driving a commercial vehicle under the influence, a misdemeanor. He is scheduled to appear in city court on Oct. 18.
Griak was arrested on Oct. 3 after a worried parent called authorities and they administered a breath test.
