Arson Likely Cause Of Fire That Destroyed Homes, Buildings & Land

The Minnesota Department of Natural Resources says arson was the likely cause of a fire in Karlstad, Minn.

The Minnesota Department of Natural Resources says arson was the likely cause of a fire in Karlstad, Minn.

More than 4,440 acres burned. Some Karlstad residents had to be evacuated. Eleven homes were destroyed and dozens of other structures were damaged.

 

A $6,000 reward is being offered for information in the case. Anyone with information on the fire is asked to call authorities.
