Hooligans Lose Flight Mission

Senator Heidi Heitkamp says she's disappointed with the Air Force's decision not to base the C-27J Spartan in Fargo.

 

 

 

 

Senator Heidi Heitkamp says she's disappointed with the Air Force's decision not to base the C-27J Spartan in Fargo.

The air guard's Happy Hooligans were hoping to get the Spartan tactical transport aircraft.

Despite the decision, Heitkamp says she is planning a full-throttled effort to help the Air Force understand how ideal and prepared the 119th Wing is for a number of future missions.

Heitkamp met with Air Force officials and toured the 119th Wing in Fargo last month.
