BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) - Officials are slated to meet in Bismarck on Tuesday to discuss a plan to reduce impacts to wildlife and land in western North Dakota's oil patch.

The so-called Sporting and Oil Industry Forum consists of a group of oil industry officials and wildlife and conservation representatives.

The group says it will announce recommendations that oil and gas producers can use to help reduce impacts on land and wildlife.

Game and Fish Director Terry Steinwand and North Dakota Petroleum Council President Ron Ness are among the officials slated to attend.
