North Dakota traffic fatalities have topped last year's rate. One hundred fifty people people have died on roads this year-that's two deaths higher than last year's record, and there's still a month to go.
State Patrol Sgt. Tom Iverson says too many people are still getting behind the wheel while drunk. More than half the fatalities this year have been alcohol-related.
Four people were killed over the Thanksgiving holiday period.
