Pride Of Dakota Event Underway In Grand Forks

More than 500 companies are part of the Agriculture Department's Pride of Dakota branding program.

GRAND FORKS, N.D. (AP) - More than 100 North Dakota companies are displaying their wares at the Alerus Center in Grand Forks this weekend.

The facility is hosting a Pride of Dakota Holiday Showcase on Saturday and Sunday. State Agriculture Commissioner Doug Goehring says shoppers can find everything from North Dakota-made food to books and jewelry.

More than 500 companies are part of the Agriculture Department's Pride of Dakota branding program. Holiday Showcases also are planned next weekend at the All Seasons Arena in Minot; Nov. 16-18 at the Fargo Civic Auditorium and Nov. 30-Dec. 2 at the Bismarck Civic Center.
