Counselors Helping Fairmount, N.D. Students And Staff Deal With School Shooting

Kids are back at school in Fairmount, N.D. a day after a student shot himself in front of other students and a teacher.

Kids are back at school in Fairmount, N.D. a day after a student shot himself in front of other students and a teacher. Superintendent Ron Stahlecker says the main goal is resume normal at his school.

The boy is hospitalized in Fargo, but is expected to survive.

Stahlecker is grateful for help from schools across the area who sent counselors to help. Eight counselors are visiting with students and staff. Stahlecker says support has been overwhelming.
