Main Avenue Construction Project In West Fargo Wraps Up

Traffic is moving smoothly on Main Avenue in West Fargo. The stretch, which had been under construction all summer long, is now complete.

DOT Traffic Engineer Kevin Gorder says the new stretch can better handle the volume of traffic it sees and is a lot safer than it used to be. He says there's new drainage, new lighting, new signals and new pedestrian facilities.

The project cost over $14.5 million.
