"Thundar" Winner In Mascot Challenge

NDSU's Thundar is the winner in the 5th annual Mascot Challenge for the Red Kettle Campaign.

NDSU's Thundar is the winner in the 5th annual Mascot Challenge for the Red Kettle Campaign.

On Saturday, Thundar took on MSU's "Scorch" and Concordia's "The Kernel" to see who could raise the most money for the Salvation Army.

In the end, "Thundar" raised $1,000.

"Scorch" was second at $520 and "The Kernel" was third at just under $400.

In all, the mascots raised $1,900 for the Salvation Army making them all winners.
