A rural Great Bend, North Dakota family lost their home to fire yesterday afternoon.

A rural Great Bend, North Dakota family lost their home to fire yesterday afternoon.

The Richland County Sheriff's office says the fire was reported about 1 o'clock at the Les Bergstrom home.

It was fully engulfed when firefighters arrived.

The owner's daughter and step-daughter were home at the time and were able to escape unhurt.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
