Man Hurt After Being Hit By A Train In Fargo

A train-pedestrian accident happened in Fargo just before 7 a.m. Thursday along the tracks north of Main Avenue and west of I-29.

 

 

 

 

A train-pedestrian accident happened in Fargo just before 7 a.m. Thursday along the tracks north of Main Avenue and west of I-29.

Sgt. Kevin Pallas says victim was breathing when he had to extricated from beneath one of the flat cars, about five cars back from the engines of the west-bound BNSF train.

 

Police are aren't sure if the man was on the tracks prior to the train's arrival or if he stepped on the tracks. His condition is not known.

The area along the tracks where the accident happened appears to be used frequently by transients.
