A spokesman with the Teamsters union in Washington says criminal charges are expected in connection with the improper use of union funds at Teamsters Local 120 in Fargo. The union hall was shut down Tuesday amid claims that thousands of dollars have been improperly diverted.

A letter from Teamsters' president James Hoffa also alleges "irregularities" in the club's bar and gaming operation. Spokesman Bret Caldwell says the teamsters will hold a hearing on the allegations within the next 30-60 days.

Caldwell says the Fargo Teamsters office will re-open its doors Wednesday and continue operations as usual.
