Patrol Commander Pleased With Gov. Budget Recommendation

The commander of the State Patrol is pleased with the budget recommendation of Governor Dalrymple. He'll ask the legislature for 15 new troopers.

　

　

Col. Jim Prochnicak says with heavy oil field-related truck traffic in the west, Prochniak says the patrol is taking a zero tolerance approach to overweight violations.

In his words, "he gloves are coming off." Roads in the west are under extreme pressure with round-the-clock traffic.
