Voters in Cass county have decided not to allow residents of Pleasant Township south of Fargo to leave the county while voters in Richland county welcomed them.

Voters in Cass county have decided not to allow residents of Pleasant Township south of Fargo to leave the county while voters in Richland county welcomed them.
Voters both in counties cast ballots on the proposal. Sixty-three percent of the voters in Cass county objected while about 68 percent of the people in Richland county said it was okay with them.
Township residents have been upset with the way Cass county has handled the Red River diversion project.
