Two North Dakota soldiers are dead and another wounded in the fighting in Afghanistan.

Two North Dakota soldiers are dead and another wounded in the fighting in Afghanistan.
The North Dakota National Guard identifies the dead as Sargeant First Class Darren Linde of Devils Lake and Specialist Tyler Orgaard of Bismarck.
Linde was 41, Orgaard, 20.
They died while clearing a road in southern Afghanistan.
A road side bomb went off, killing them.
Specialist Ian Placek of Bismarck is in the hospital in Germany in stable condition, also a victim of the attack.
The men were members of the 818th Engineer company, which is headquartered in Williston.
They've been in Afghanistan since June.
Funeral arrangements are pending.
