State Investigator Hopes To Determine Cause Of Ada Fire

A state fire investigator is searching for the source of a fire that destroyed much of the Triple Crown elevator in downtown Ada, Minnesota.

Fire Chief Steve Petry says it looks like the blaze started at the top of the main elevator. A newer annex was saved.

The elevator is known for oats supplied to the horse racing industry.

Departments from a dozen surrounding towns helped fight the fire including Crookston and Moorhead.
