Fargo Man Shoots Self In Hand

A Fargo man was treated at the hospital after accidently shooting himself while cleaning a handgun.

 

 

 

 

A Fargo man was treated at the hospital after accidently shooting himself while cleaning a handgun.

The accident happened at the man's home early Monday morning.  The man was wounded in the hand and he called the police about the incident while enroute to the hospital for treatment.

Two other people were in the home at the time the gun discharged.

While it's against the law to discharge a gun within city limits, police say they are not recommending any charges because it was an accident.
