The manager of West Acres in Fargo says weather was a factor in a slight drop in the number of shoppers that hit the mall Black Friday.
Rusty Papachek estimates foot traffic at around 75,000 people. That's down from the record number of black friday shoppers a year ago, but he adds, still a very successful turnout.
He says this year's Friday results may also have been tempered by the shoppers taking in sales Thursday.
A number of big box retailers got their deals rolling as early as 8pm Thanksgiving.
