The deaths of five West Fargo High School students, since early December have been a heavy blow to students and staff.

Superintendent David Flowers says the district is doing what it can to help students cope.

On a typical day, West Fargo High School has five counselors on staff.

In light of the recent tragedies, they have used outside resources to increase that number to 15.

Counselors, teachers, and adminstrators are paying extra attention to students are struggling with grief, making sure they aren't overcome or considering suicide.
