Fargo Man Stranded On I-29

Lowell Regstad of Fargo is among a group of travelers that found themselves stranded on I-29 south of Fargo as the storm closed in Sunday afternoon.

 

 

 

 

Lowell Regstad of Fargo is among a group of travelers that found themselves stranded on I-29 south of Fargo as the storm closed in Sunday afternoon.

He's safe and sound this morning in a shelter but says it was a day he wouldn't want to re-live.

Regstad says the folks in Colfax provided cots, blankets and hot food for the stranded travelers.

Regstad says I-29 closed behind him, and visibilities were so bad drivers either went off the highway or just pulled over.
