BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) - The National Weather Service says the Missouri and James river basins in North Dakota have a below-normal risk of flooding this spring.
The Souris River also is expected to remain well within its banks this spring in the Minot area, though minor flooding could occur in some rural areas.
The region experienced historic flooding along the Souris in 2011.
