Too bad our Thanksgiving weather couldn't be like it was yesterday when we set record high temperatures, for the date in Fargo, Dickinson and Sioux Falls.

But dispite the fact things are definitely taking a turn toward winter, as the saying goes: "it could be worse".

KFGO forecaster Terry Spies says we have a "Winter Weather Advisory" that will kick in at noon, and stay with us until 6:00 am Friday.

That might make things interesting for folks who are going to line-up outside stores to start holiday shopping.

What this advisory means is colder temps maybe some freezing drizzle and/or light snow and a stout breeze out of the northwest.

Stay in touch with KFGO for all the latest weather developments.
