The city of Fargo is getting four new hybrid buses.

 

 

 

 

The city of Fargo is getting four new hybrid buses.

City Commissioners have approved the purchase of the 40-foot New Flyer buses for $2.5 million dollars. Federal grants are covering most of the purchase. The local share amounts to a little less than a half million dollars. City Commissioner Mike Williams says the energy efficient buses are cost effective in the long run.

 

The MAT system has been running several of the hybrid buses for several years.
