The actions of a Moorhead City Council member recently led police to a make a drug bust at a north Moorhead home.
A search warrant affidavit says a concerned citizen approached city council member Nancy Otto about possible drug activity. Otto was told by the resident that people were "coming and going at all hours" from the home, which is located on 9th Street North.
Court documents say Otto helped start the investigation by contacting Police Chief Dave Ebinger. A search warrant for the home was obtained and investigators seized a cell phone and a bag of marijuana.
Charges have not yet been filed.
