Dickinson police are investigating the accidental shooting of a 3-year-old child at a mobile home court.

DICKINSON, N.D. (AP) - Dickinson police are investigating the accidental shooting of a 3-year-old child at a mobile home court.

Capt. Joe Cianni says the child took a bullet in an upper thigh Thursday afternoon and will be OK.

Police say a handgun was unintentionally fired in the incident. They did not immediately provide further details.
