Woman Dies In Oakdale Fire

A suburban St. Paul woman has died in a fire at her townhouse.

OAKDALE, Minn. (AP) - A suburban St. Paul woman has died in a fire at her townhouse.

Authorities say firefighters were dispatched to the townhouse complex in Oakdale about 5 a.m. Tuesday after a resident smelled smoke. First responders found smoke pouring from one unit, forced entry and found the victim in her bedroom.

Firefighters quickly extinguished the fire.
