Man With 27 DWI Convictions Back In Custody

A New Yorks Mills man who has more drunken driving convictions than anyone ever in Minnesota is back in trouble with the law.

Danny Bettcher is in the Wadena County jail on a probation violation. He was spotted drinking at a bar, which isn't allowed under the terms of his release from prison.

Bettcher, with 27 DWI convictions, was released from prison in late October where he'd served three years for previous drinking and driving convictions.

A hearing is set for next week to determine whether bettcher will face further consequences.
