The 2013 session of the North Dakota legislature gets underway at noon Tuesday with speeches by legislative leaders.
It will kick off with a joint session at 1:00 pm and the ceremonial oath's of office for newly elected state officials.
Gov. Jack Dalrymple will then deliver his "State of the State" address.
A redesigned legislative website this session should make it easy for you to find information on legislators, budget documents and committee hearing schedules.
The new legislative bill-tracking application on the state legislature website was launched last week.
Individual bills can be followed by the public free of charge.
For more than a decade, a bill-tracking system was used that was run through the North Dakota University system and required a fee.
