FBI Investigates Murder In Fort Yates

Murder charges have been filed against a woman on the Standing Rock Indian Reservation.

 

 

 

 

Murder charges have been filed against a woman on the Standing Rock Indian Reservation.

An FBI affidavit says Morning Star Brown used a knife to stab Jarrett Two Bear in the chest Sunday afternoon in Fort Yates. The report says by the time tribal police arrived at the home, Two Bear was unresponsive.

Two Bear died while being flown by helicopter to a Bismarck hospital. Brown remains in federal custody.
