US Rig Count Climbs 3 This Week To 1,762

Oilfield Services Company Baker Hughes Incorporated says the number of rigs actively exploring for oil and natural gas in the U.S. Rose by three this week to 1,762.

 

 

 

 

Houston (AP)  Oilfield Services Company Baker Hughes Incorporated says the number of rigs actively exploring for oil and natural gas in the U.S. Rose by three this week to 1,762.
 
The Houston, Texas-based company said in its weekly report Friday that 1,337 rigs were actively exploring for oil and 421 for gas. Four were listed as miscellaneous.
 
North Dakota shut down one rig. West Texas intermediate crude priced at Oklahoma's cushing pipeline hub closed the week at $95.86.
